Executive coaching

As an Executive Coach, I have over 15 years of experience coaching executives in many industries including consulting, entertainment & media, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, and technology. My previous work experiences in industry and at business schools have enabled me to understand the cultures and dynamics of many industries and functions. I have coached senior executives including Chairmen of the board, CEOs, COOs, CFOs, Presidents, Partners, General Managers, Vice Presidents, and Directors.  In addition, I have coached emerging and senior leaders in 6-18 month long high potential and Leadership Development Programs. I have also coached in Executive Education programs at Harvard Business School.
I earned an Organizational and Leadership Coaching Certificate and a Master of Science in Learning and Organizational Change from Northwestern University.  In addition, I am certified in DISC, Emotional and Social Competency Inventory (ESCI), Gallup Global Strengths, Hogan Assessment, Korn Ferry Leadership Architect, Myers-Briggs (MBTI), Taking Flight with DISC and Voices 360.
Most Executive Coaching engagements range from 6-9 months and focus on one or two development goals. 

Key steps in executive coaching

 

Alignment

Meeting several times with the sponsor team including manager and HR business partner

 
 

Behavioral coaching

 

The crux of the engagement supporting the client and keeping him/her accountable.  Providing support for the client to change their behavior

 

Data gathering

Conducting a career/life history, debriefing a Hogan Assessment, reviewing performance evaluations, and conducting stakeholder/360 interviews

 

Transition

 Keeping the momentum going after the engagement conclude
